Product Overview

PH301 Portable Ultrasonic Flow Meter — monitor liquid flow freely from site to site.
Flo-Instruments' PH301 is a highly accurate, non-invasive portable ultrasonic flow meter designed for liquid flow measurement. It uses advanced digital signal processing technology to deliver reliable flow measurement across a wide range of liquids and pipe sizes with high accuracy.
PH301 is the ideal tool for testing and validating flow. The battery-operated portable meter uses clamp-on transducers to measure flow through the pipe wall. One transducer set is provided for optimal performance with pipes ranging from 1" to 200" in diameter, and it works with most commonly used and special pipe materials.
The clean, large screen makes it easy to enter pipe diameter, wall thickness, and pipe material. PH301 can run for up to 12 hours on its built-in rechargeable battery. Monitoring flow over time is simple with the built-in data logger: the 2 GB SD card supports up to 512 files with intervals ranging from 1 second to 86,400 seconds. Data can be downloaded to a PC via USB flash drive.
PH301 features a high protection level — IP65 transmitter and IP68 transducer — and supports bidirectional measurement with a totalizing function. Optional magnetic guide rail or pipe-strap mounting accessories are available.

Key Features
Ideal for Monitoring & Measuring Flow

Clamp-on transducers allow for quick installation with no shutdown, no drilling, and no pressure drop. Each meter includes a built-in SD card, making it an ideal solution for monitoring flow over time. A fully equipped carrying case includes a complete set of measurement tools, and the rechargeable internal battery makes it the ideal go-anywhere flow meter.

Works with Multiple Pipe Materials

Designed to work with many different pipe materials, including PVC, carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, PE, HDPE, ductile iron, aluminum, asbestos, and fiberglass-epoxy.

Simple to Set Up and Use

PH301 is easily configured through a 4.3-inch TFT color screen and 22 touch keys. Enter a few key parameters and the display will show the correct transducer separation distance.

Alphanumeric and Flow Curve Display

A large, multifunction LCD presents measured data in both alphanumeric and graphic forms. Standard alphanumeric functions include flow velocity, flow, and totalized flow in either English (U.S.) or metric units. In graphic mode, the LCD shows both real-time and logged data — very useful for reviewing data and observing trends on site.

Operating Principle: TVT Technology

TVT (Transit-Time Vortex) technology represents a cutting-edge approach to ultrasonic flow measurement. It combines the principles of transit-time ultrasonics with the ability to harness the vortex shedding phenomenon, delivering exceptional accuracy and versatility in ultrasonic flow meters. This innovative integration enhances accuracy, versatility, and performance, making it well-suited for a wide range of applications across various industries and a valuable solution for industries requiring precise flow measurements under varying flow conditions.

Enhanced Accuracy in Turbulent Flows

TVT technology excels in applications where fluid flow conditions vary between laminar and turbulent. The incorporation of vortex shedding data enhances accuracy in challenging flow environments.

Versatility in Fluid Types

TVT technology is versatile and suitable for a wide range of fluid types, including liquids with varying viscosities and densities.
