Product Overview

The SE603 ultrasonic energy meter is a clamp-on simple type ultrasonic flow meter widely used in flow and energy measurement applications. Based on state-of-the-art TVT technology, it fully meets new standards for energy and environmental savings.

This meter allows accurate measurement of heat and cooling energy where water serves as the heat transfer fluid. It is specifically adapted for residential and industrial sectors including low-cost housing, condominiums, buildings, individual houses, factories, and municipal applications.

Working Principle

The SE603 is a separate clamp-on ultrasonic energy meter designed for small, medium, and large pipe sizes. Using the ultrasonic principle of transit-time difference method, it sends and receives ultrasonic signals through sensors. The difference between upstream and downstream transit-time through moving liquid is used to calculate flow and velocity. Energy measurement is displayed based on temperature differences from PT1000 sensors at inlet and outlet water points.
