Introduction

SE603 ultrasonic energy meter used widely in flow and energy measurement is based on state-of-the-art TVT technology, which fully meets the new standards for energy and environmental savings.

In particular, it allows accurate measurement of heat and cooling energy in which water is the heat transfer fluid. It is specifically adapted to the residential and industrial sectors: low-cost housing, condominiums, buildings, individual houses, factories, cities, neighbourhoods, etc.

The meter has remote reading functionalities in order to better monitor energy consumption. It allows communication according to RS485 Modbus standards.The ultrasonic technology eliminates a large part of the pressure losses, which ensures a very wide measuring range.

The advantage of ultrasonic measurement is that there are no moving parts in contact with the fluid, which gives the device a long service life.

 

Main Features

  • No Pipe Modification Necessary,No Special Tool Needed

The difficulties commonly associated with installing a new ultrasonic flow meter are eliminated by simple CLAMP-ON.This design eliminates the need to cut pipe, shut down pipe running, stop production, and reduce additional costs etc. Easy and simple installation can be achieved by a single Phillips-head screw driver without any special tools.

  • Energy Measurement

The measurement accuracy of PT1000 temperature sensor is very high, which can reach ±0.1℃, ±0.2℃, ±0.5℃ and it can measurement energy through the temperature differences from temperature sensors at inlet water and outlet water.

  • Hook and Snap-On Installation

The main unit(display screen) has a very special and easy installation. Method 1, just hang it by hook hole of the top and bottom on the wall or on the pipeline etc; Method 2, its back has snap-on design. It can be easily installed by just clamping it on the rail in the power distribution cabinet or somewhere that can accommodate the buckle on its back.

 

Working Principle

SE603 is a separete and clamp-on ultrasonic energy meter, specially designed for meeting the small/medium/large pipe size. It is very easy and simple in seting-up and installation. The product developed by adopting the ultrasonic principle of transit-time difference method sends and receives ultrasonic signals through the sensor. When the ultrasonic signal is transmitted and received through the moving liquid, there will be a difference between upstream and downstream transit-time, which can be used to calculating flow and velocity. Samely, based on PT1000 temperature sensor, SE603 can display energy measurement through the temperature differences from temperature sensors at inlet water and outlet water.
