TM601 Ultrasonic Flow Meters Integrated into Solar-Powered LoRa Remote Monitoring System in Ecuador

2026-06-18
Latest company case about TM601 Ultrasonic Flow Meters Integrated into Solar-Powered LoRa Remote Monitoring System in Ecuador

A customer in Ecuador recently implemented a remote flow monitoring project using our TM601 clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters.

The project was designed to monitor multiple flow measurement points distributed across different locations. To achieve centralized data management while minimizing cabling costs, the customer adopted a wireless communication architecture based on LoRa technology.

Seven TM601 ultrasonic flow meters were installed at various measurement points ranging from DN15 to DN50 pipelines. Each flow meter communicates through RS485 Modbus RTU to a local control unit. The collected flow data is then transmitted via LoRa wireless links to the central monitoring station.

To ensure reliable operation in remote areas, the system is powered by solar energy, providing an energy-efficient and maintenance-friendly solution.
